Position: Process Project Engineer
Locations: Kansas City, MO
Duration: Wood River, NE

Compensation: $85k-$95k, with up to 10% bonus.

Education: 4 year engineering degree (mechanical or chemical is strongly preferred.
Experience:
? 5-7 years of experience, mechanical or chemical engineer.

? Continuous process experience

? Strong process experience with project work.

Relocation assistance available

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

? Design manufacturing systems, equipment, controls and improvements as required to maintain plant reliability and cost effectiveness.

? Interface and works closely with plant management team in the planning and development of projects and in developing viable solutions to identified problems.

? Identify process deficiencies and recommends improvements.

? Analyze and evaluate new processes, controls and equipment to improve reliability and efficiencies of operation.

? May function as a project manager or primary liaison with outside vendors or contractors.

? Develop equipment lists, piping and instrument diagramming (P&ID) required for new projects.

? Develop the specifications for the purchase of new equipment.

? Develop and administer budgets for individual projects.

? Manage document control.

? Oversee permit responsibilities for projects.
