Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
? Design
manufacturing systems, equipment, controls and improvements as
required to maintain plant reliability and cost
effectiveness.
? Interface and works closely with plant
management team in the planning and development of projects and in
developing viable solutions to identified problems.
?
Identify process deficiencies and recommends improvements.
?
Analyze and evaluate new processes, controls and equipment to
improve reliability and efficiencies of operation.
? May
function as a project manager or primary liaison with outside
vendors or contractors.
? Develop equipment lists, piping and
instrument diagramming (P&ID) required for new
projects.
? Develop the specifications for the purchase of
new equipment.
? Develop and administer budgets for
individual projects.
? Manage document control.
