ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and review cost estimates and productivity impact estimates for union, non-union, prevailing wage, regional and market conditions to effectively minimize estimate risk. Significant experience validating fully burdened labor and productivity rates.
Prepare and review capital cost estimates for internal acquisitions of equipment, supporting rent vs. buy decisions.
Develop productivity analyses of construction operations and verifies results by manpower and crew analysis of work operations by craft to validate estimating standards.
Develop understanding of differences between standard cost categories consistent with other company projects and non-standard site specific cost estimates requiring ad-hoc information retrieval and inquiry. Develop standard processes and databases to accurately build-up non-std costs on a unit price basis

Skills.
- Knowledge and experience spanning multiple engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineering) is advantageous.
- Accomplishments should provide evidence of practical knowledge of standards and regulations, both domestic and international (e.g. FDA, ISO 9000, UL etc.).
- Must possess-Creative problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
